Vocational school: Gewerblich-Industriellen Berufsfachschule in Thun or BWZ in Lyss 

School days: One day per week

Qualification: Logistics specialist EFZ

• Taking deliveries, checking them and booking them in the computer system 
• Storing goods appropriately with the help of electric vehicles and complex conveyor systems
• Preparing goods that have been ordered for delivery or shipping, drawing up delivery documents, and loading vehicles safely and correctly 
• Regularly checking inventory so that we are neither overstocked nor understocked

• You have completed your compulsory education (Sekundarschule or Realschule) 
• You have good practical skills 
• You understand how to operate various electric vehicles 
• You enjoy working with computers and electronic devices 
• You are very well organised 
• You can concentrate and stay focussed for long periods 
• You learn quickly and have a good memory 
• You are service oriented

Qualifying as a logistics specialist opens the door to a challenging role in the logistics department. You can progress into a specialist position in the fields of storage, distribution or traffic and continue your training, e.g. by taking the examination for the Federal Diploma of Higher Education (Berufsprüfung) or the examination for the Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education for Logistics Specialists (höhere Fachprüfung).
